Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Code Cursos e Treinamentos LTDA collects when you use SungSummary, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to match what the product actually does, so if you find a gap between the two, tell us and we will fix the product or the policy.

What we collect

• Account: your email address and password, which is stored hashed by our authentication provider and is never visible to us.
• Study activity: which songs you play, how many seconds you actually listened, whether you finished, and your practice question answers. This is what powers your progress and streak.
• Billing: handled by Hotmart, who sell and process the payment as merchant of record. From them we receive the email address on the purchase, the plan, the transaction reference and the subscription status, which is what we use to unlock your access. We never see or store your card number.
• Consent records: which version of these documents you agreed to, when, and the IP address and browser you used. We keep this because auto-renewal law requires us to be able to evidence it.

Health information

We do not collect health information about you. The clinical content in this product is study material, not a record of anyone's care. We are not a healthcare provider or a business associate, so HIPAA does not apply to this service.

Why we use it

To give you access to what you paid for, to save your progress, to bill you, to answer support requests, to keep the service secure, and to understand which content is working so we can make more of it. That is the complete list.

We do not sell your personal information

We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we have not done so in the past twelve months.

Who we share it with

Only the vendors that run the service: our hosting and database provider, Hotmart for payment, and our email provider. They act on our instructions, except Hotmart, who are an independent seller and controller of the purchase data they collect. We also disclose information if the law requires it.

Where your data is processed

Our database and file storage are hosted in the United States. Code Cursos e Treinamentos LTDA is established in Brazil, so our staff access your data from there. By using the service you understand that your information is handled in both places.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under California's CCPA and CPRA, you can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or opt out of sale or sharing. We respond within 45 days. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.

Keeping it

We keep your account data while your account exists. When you delete your account we delete your personal data, except records we are required to keep, such as billing history for tax purposes and consent records for the period the law requires.

Children

This service is not for anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We will post a new version here with a new version number, and give notice by email before a material change takes effect.
