Version WCAG 2.1 Level AA
SungSummary is built to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. An audio-first study product is used by people who cannot rely on audio, and designing around that is the point rather than an afterthought.
What we do
- Every song has a full transcript. The lyrics are the study material, and nothing publishes without them. You never need to hear a track to learn what it teaches.
- Everything works from the keyboard, and focus is always visible.
- Pinch and browser zoom are never disabled.
- Controls carry text labels for screen readers, not just icons.
- Colour is never the only way information is conveyed.
- We respect your system setting for reduced motion.
- Text and interface colours are checked for contrast against our dark background.
Where we are not there yet
We would rather tell you than let you find out. This list is kept current as we fix things.
- The audio scrubber is a native range input. It is keyboard operable, but it does not yet announce position changes as clearly as it should.
- We have not yet completed an audit with an external tester who uses a screen reader daily. Automated checks catch a fraction of what matters, and we do not want to claim more than we have verified.
Tell us what is broken
If any part of this service is hard to use with the tools you rely on, email support@example.com with what you were doing and what got in the way. Accessibility reports go to the front of the queue, and we will reply with a fix or a date.
